The school counseling department at Eastern Mennonite School seeks to provide an interactive environment where each student is able to explore the unfolding mystery of spiritual, emotional and academic growth. Parents, teachers and youth leaders are equally part of the community which is involved in counseling and guiding youth.
The 6-12 community is served by 2 counselors. Mrs. Nafziger is responsible for grades 6-9 and Mr. Steve Yoder for grades 10-12. The two counselors work together to discern needs of the community and plan program accordingly.
