EMMS & EMHS Update
VOCES8 (vo-ch-ez 8), an internationally acclaimed ensemble of six men and two women from England will present a concert of choral music at Eastern Mennonite School on Tuesday, March 2, at 7:30. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. For information call 236-6014. The concert is a fundraiser for the Touring Choir European trip.
Thursday, March 4, 2010 @ 7 pm: Dr. Cale from the RMH Center for Sleep Medicine will present an informational evening on various sleep issues that would be helpful for teens and adults alike to hear. Mark your calendars for March 13, when the PTF of EMHS will sponsor the annual Soup and Arts Fest! Gourmet Soups, provided by 20 local restaurants, will be featured in an “all you can eat” buffet from 5:00-7:30. This event will include an art gallery featuring artwork from students in grades k-12, a gift shop, local artisans demonstrations and live entertainment provided by students of EMS. All proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts at EMS. Tickets will be sold at the door: $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children age 6-12, and free admission for children age 5 and under.
