EMMS & EMHS Update Weather Delays & Cancellations: This morning was a difficult day for making weather calls. Before 6 a.m., several of us check our local road conditions. This morning roadways were clear and we were confident that sidewalk and other school conditions would be safe for students. Without the need to clean the windows of a bus fleet, we felt able to provide the services of education; HOWEVER, PLEASE REMEMBER it is always parental prerogative to keep students home because of unsafe on disconcerting conditions in your area. Your student’s attendance will always be excused if you need to keep them home for such reasons.
Rock the Drive – Christmas Fund Drive Update
Monday, Jan 25 at 3:30 p.m. is the deadline for Fund Drive 09-10. Our students have worked hard and our community has been very generous – even in this economy.
Then….Jan 29, we are going to CELEBRATE. From 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. we will be having a Winter Celebration Festival. Many activities and snacks are planned. And we will be outside, so bundle up! (Please note….activities will run after normal release time, but students may leave at the regular time).
Two of the offerings require an accident waiver…..that’s right, we are having a Mechanical Bull as well as a Mechanical Wave Rider. Mr. Paul Leaman and Mr. Seth Crissman will be in the ducking booth, too!
The waiver is attached for you to print, fill out and return to school. We will also have some copies on campus. But your student MUST have a completed and signed copy to participate in these two activities, even if they are 18.
Oh yeah….you are invited, also. You, our parents are so very important to the success of this fund raiser. So please join us.
