Modified Tuition/Discounts

• Students who attend churches that financially support the Eastern Mennonite School Annual Fund, (including Virginia Mennonite Conference congregations), receive a supporting churches discount per student (see discount below). New churches are always welcome to become a supporting church through participation in our Annual Fund.
• Children of alumni also receive the modified tuition discount below.
• Discount and modified tuition rates for 2011-12 are as follows:
  • Grades 8-12:  Modified tuition $10,360 or a $2,272 discount
  • Grade 7: Modified tuition $9,637 or a $2,118 discount
  • Grade 6 $851: Modified tuition $8,795 or $872 discount
  • Grades K-5 $533: Modified tuition $6,004 or $547
• New K-12 students applying by March 17 receive a $100 discount on tuition.

Fees

• Student General Fee due May 31 for new students and March 30 for returning students.
  • Grades 6-12 $350
  • Grades K-5 $225
• Grades 6-12 Capital Improvement Fee: $350 per family (two installments of $175 due Aug. 31 and Jan. 31)
• Hosted Student Room & Board: $6,950
• Medical insurance for international students: $515
• Driver's Education: $335

• Tutoring: Intensive Individualized Instruction $925/quarter
• English for International Students $925/quarter

Tuition Payment

• Ten month and quarterly payment plans are available. 3% discount for payment in full by August 31.
• Signed Payment Contract indicates choice of payment schedule; due by May 31 or when accepted for admission.

Financial Aid

• All families desiring financial aid must submit a financial aid application to F.A.S.T. by March 15 of each year. There is a $36 application fee which may be paid directly to F.A.S.T. online.  Financial Aid is limited and based solely on family need.
• Late applications are considered as funds are available.
• Aid awards are given on April 15.

Transportation

• Eastern Mennonite Elementary School Shuttle: $3/round trip, $72/quarter 1way, $144/quarter round trip
• Waynesboro Shuttle: $375/quarter per rider or $500/quarter per family
